Last night we were issued a quick challenge on Facebook by Little Scraps of Heaven Designs- you have two hours make a 4x6 or smaller tag using a LSHD paper piecing. I was tired of sitting in front of the TV so I took the challenge. This is the tag I completed:
This is the Peek-a-Boo Bear and I'm seriously infatuated with him. He's just adorable. Well I couldn't leave him as just a tag so I turned him into an easel card.
I'm very pleased with how this card turned out. I like all the stitching and the BIG flower that anchors the right corner.
I firmly believe I may try some hand stitching in the near future. It adds so much to the finished project, it's worth the time. So far I've mostly done machine stitching but I'd like the thread to be thicker and to try different stitching options. My machine limits me.
And a couple more shots:
As always I hope this little bit of crafting has inspired your creativity!
