Happy Monday!!

And here's my project for today:

The photos are a couple years old but I wanted to use this hop as an opportunity to help catch up as well as showcase some wonderful paper piecing. I used the Fun in the Sun Monkey set and picked the "swimming monkey" and the "monkey with innertube" patterns. I found a wonderful sketch from Sketchy Thursday's that helped jump start me.  The pattern paper is BoBunny- Sun Kissed and that's where I drew my title inspiration from.

I matted the Sun (font is Mistral cut with SCAL and Don Juan Cricut) and pop dotted the Kissed. The two little monkey's sure look like they are having fun in the sun.

 I enjoyed putting this layout together. Sometimes digging through older photos brings Happy memories to the surface and help brighten a gray day. Your next stop is Misty.
